Worst tap in the world
"I have had three replacement taps, all exchanged no problem at all at B&Q, but it doesn't help that they have all have gone wrong in the first place. The taps look fine but for after a couple of months, you may as well not bother to use them.
The water just trickles out, it is certainly not enough to have a shower with and it takes an age to fill the bath. Absolutely rubbish.
We completely redecorated our bathroom, replaced taps purely because we preferred the look of these, but why oh why?!
I can't face having a forth set, so we will be left with one style of design on the basin and another on the bath, OK OK, not really the end of the world, but it is frustrating when you have redecorated and replaced to match, but through no fault of your own, you are sold rubbish taps that appear to have had the same problem for several years.
Just keep walking ...

Worst tap going-do not buy it!
"'Recommend this to a friend'? I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy! I have had 3 replacement washers, as they are plastic not rubber. I have had 2 replacement units. The tap works fine for a while and then seizes up. PJH (the manufacturers) have been helpful regarding these consistent problems, but this doesn't help when you have a two and a half year old boy and a pregnant wife who (along with myself) would like a bath and shower on a regular basis. Do not buy this product; it is a complete waste of a lot of money. I am back on the phone to PJH tomorrow. I would have posted a video of me turning the taps and no water coming about but do not think that would be too compelling. Rubbish!"

Good product but some limitations of use
"The main tap is of good quality, looks good and functions well. There are however, some limitations in its use as a "stand-up" shower. It does not come with wall support for the shower head and the hose is 120cm long, making it just too short for this purpose .
Admittedly there was no picture of a support on the box but others have them & I was disappointed not to find one.
The hose will also not fit in the standard type of wall support or shower slider rail. You will need to purchase a separate longer hose and shower slider/support.

important info
"I read the previous review on these taps as I was going to purchase them, & note the comment about 'water flow' not all taps are suitable for your systems. Its very important to check the tech. info and find out if your flow is high or low pressure! I can only buy taps suitable for a low pressure flow. Therefore if the reviewer changes his pipes it won`t make any difference. So know you pressure if not always the tap that the problem, hope thats helpful"

good purchase, cheapest around during sale
"I previously had gold taps but my wife insisted on getting chrome! The taps i had b4 were the same, mixer & shower, however upon opening i foun d these ones to not be anywhere near as "chunky" as my old ones. After doing a bit of reasearch on the internet i found that my old gold taps cost almost 3 times more than i paid for the b&q ones. For the price i paid i am very happy. They look the business and the build quality is good. THe only problem i have is that either the shower head itself or the pipe leading to it are causing me very low water flow. To be honest it was not that good b4. I have swopped the pipe and head for the old gold one and it has the same pressure as b4. Therefore i think i need to buy a new pipe with a thicker diamter inside to get more flow. Approx £15-20. Dont get me wrong, my water pressure is very low anyway so you may have no probs. But even including the new pipe it still works out cheaper than simular taps elsewhere!!! Good purchase!!"
