Not for heavy use!
"I bought these and extended the handles ready to prune away, only to come unstuck on a not particularly thick branch when the handles bent under not a great deal of pressure. Dissapointed I went back and bought something a bit tougher. Only buy these if youre trimming little stuff. For the thicker more mature branches / stems get a more robust pair of loppers."

sturdy, great value loppers
"I read the other review stating that these were no good , but after seeing them in store, they looked very sturdy, and i decided to go with my gut instinct and try them.
I have a very over grown apple tree and they worked a treat. strong cut, great to handle and use. I did not try a very thick branch, but common sense tells you that these are not meant for very thick branches. I would recommend these for general pruning/lopping. they worked a treat and very good value for money.

Worst garden tool ever
"Bought this for medium pruning work. On the first day one of the cheap plastic handles just broke off. On the second day one of the arms bent and then the removable jaw snapped off - leaving the whole thing broken and useless. Unfortunately the receipt was lost and therefore no return. Do not buy this, save up and get something that is fit for purpose."
