MacAllister Double Bevel Slide Compound Mitre Saw (L)305mm 1800W

Double bevel cutting action. Allows the operator to 'flip' the blade, not the workpiece.

"Does what I need it to do but I agree with the other reviewers about the dust collector. It just doesn't work even with a vaccuum cleaner attached"

"Agree with other reviewer - Dust collector doesn't work at all. Cheap, basic model with lots of features nonetheless. Good for home DIY'er. Consider replacing the blade for cleaner cuts but watch out for the additional cost. Does require setting up squarely prior to use. When buying a saw like this for the first time consider the size of the unit (they are very deep when you include the slide rails at the rear!)"

It's an ok purchase
"Seems to do what it says on the tin, have used it a number of times now. Only downside is the sawdust collection bag is next to useless even if it's replaced by a vacuum nozzle."

MacAllistar 305mm saw
"Very pleased with this saw at first fitted a kitchen with it ok.after a few weeks the lazer gets blocked with saw dust & its to easy to find the cable close to the blade when in use.To pull the saw down now requires lifting the gaurd to get it to move down.
after app 15month the blade sounds & feels like it going to depart from the machine .Ive a £60.00 rexon saw thats 4yrs old still running like new i will be knocking the cobwebs of it & putting it back to use.
