good til it sprung a leak due to missing parts
"monza boiler seemed a bargain til the warrenty run out. i have had to get a plumber in who opened up the main compartment to find that it had sprung a leak and fried the thermostat and possibly more due to MISSING PARTS. i called the manufactured (who earlier that morning had wanted to charge £280 + parts to repair it themselves) to tell them and they just fobbed me off. todays plumber said the guy who installed it wouldnt have been in the back of the boiler and therefore would not have noticed missing parts. monza didnt care that they sold me (through b&q) a faulty item. to top it off as it is not a popular brand all parts need to be ordered. looks like we have no shower for few weeks now. thank god we dont need the heating!"

Good choice, boiler is quiet, good value
"The plumbing engineer was impressed with this boiler, he checked the parts and said they were from very good manufacturers, so I am glad I made this choice."

Great quiet little boiler
"Just had this boiler fitted and I can already say how pleased we are with it. It is so quiet, fits great in the kitchen and the Valiant obsessed plumber who fitted it was very impressed and said 'you have a great boiler there'. So yes well worth spending this amount of money rather than 1k on a boiler. Only comment I will make is that the flue kit you need to buy seperately (my naivety on boilers meant I had to go back and buy one...) and the instructions weren't the best, but not any great hardship. Buy and enjoy!"

Great boiler!!!
"I have installed a number of these boilers now, both the 28kW model and also the 24kW where my customers need a lower priced boiler.
I can hionestly say the quality for the money is great, a good quiet boiler, easy to fit and my customers are very happy for the money.
Whilst I don't need to convert any to LPG, I agree with the comment made about them only issuing kits to Registered Engineers, rather than letting unqualified people mess about with boilers they have not been trained on.
For anyone wanting a no hassle combi solution, look no further!

Excellent value for money
"Installed 5 of these now. I am a Gas Safe registered installer and come across lots of snobbery with boiler brands. Heatline used to be just OK. These Monza's are excellent value. Simple but effective and very quiet, using top-quality parts (Grunfos pump/ Gianoni Heat Exchangers etc). Best kept secret...
Also, ignore the comment below about LPG conversions. If the end user knew a bit about boilers they would realise the LPG nozzles are Safety Critical parts. Some manufacturers allow us installers to "tweek" the gas valve and re-set the air/gas mixture. However, this is a technical procedure and should only be completed with the correct diagnostic equipment. I can't fault the manufacturer for taking this position. Too many cowboys about.....

Boiler
"Great price for a combi. Plumber that installed it had no problems. Seems to work fine too."

New boiler
"Bought this boiler based on price and size. Was pleasantly surprised by the build quality when I opened it up and even better when I ran it and found it to be very quiet in operation. Did have one problem as found one of the pipes inside had come dislodged in transit, but has obvious where it should go. Well pleased."

LPG - WARNING DO NOT BUY! £126 extra
"If you want to use this with LPG, B & Q will reasonably tell you that you need to contact Heatline for the conversion kit - which, if you are an LPG user, you will assume is a simple, free process and the jets will arrive FOC the next day as they usually do.
They will not. You have to pay a further £126.00 to Heatline for their engineer to drive to your house with the bits and fit them......Your own gas engineer won't do and cannot get parts anyway. It is so new (one of the umpteen people to whom I spoke today told me), that there is no part number for anyone to order by............. My suggestion? Buy another brand........"
Response from B&Q:By Heatline Customer Services14/10/2011
Dear Angie016,

Heatline is sorry to hear about your comment and any misunderstanding this may have caused . As a responsible manufacturer, Heatline takes gas safety extremely seriously and issues LPG conversion kits for its natural gas appliances in a controlled manner. If conversion of a natural gas appliance is required, Heatline can either undertake the work using our own fully trained engineers or can provide the necessary components to a suitably qualified Gas Safe Registered engineer. In order for a Gas Safe Registered engineer to obtain the approved conversion kit, the engineer will be asked to provide details of their Gas Safe Registration number and dates on which they completed their LPG ACS module. If you require any further assistance please don't hesitate to contact our dedicated service team on 01773 596 611

An excellent boiler for the money
"I was a bit uncertain about buying this boiler considering the price was quite low. I also looked on the Internet to review and Heatline had a mixed response. However I know they were bought by Vaillant a few years ago (Vaillant is probably best boiler on market) and the Germans have a reputation for top quality. It looks like this new boiler from Heatline has been designed and built with the Vaillant culture in mind. Really pleased with the performance and it is really quiet too! Well done Heatline. I'll continue fitting these...."
