Doesn't work!
"I will be returning this product tomorrow as it doesn't work. I left very little silicone on the surface having removed almost all of it with a stanley knife and it wouldn't even remove the tiny leftover bits I bought it to remove. I tried leaving it on longer - still didn't work. You could see it wrinkled up the edges a tiny bit but it clearly wasn't potent enough to get the job done.
The small bottle it comes in also only comes half full!"

Didn't do what is says on the tin!
"Bought this hoping it would do what it says it will. It doesn't! It loosens the grip it has on the edges if the silicone has been smeared thin, but thats all. Found that WD40 works better to soften silicone, but nothing beats a razor sharp knife or scraper."

Worked well
"I removed most of the sealant with a blade. When I brushed the sealant remover on it soon softened the sealant and removal was then easy. I did apply a second coat to get rid of a few bits."

Bad product
"I bought this product looking at the reviews and then when i applied it to remove the silicone, it didn't work. I tried it a couple of times and it was of no use. I will not recommend this product to anyone of you. Sorry B&Q"

"First time I have used a Silicone Sealant (spent hours scraping remnants off) .Quick and easy.Was concerned about B&Q product being cheaper than well known brands,but done the job ."

"I was going to buy the more expensive brand as did not expect own brand to be as good, painted liquid on before having tea and it removed all traces of sealant within 15mins. So impressed, well done B&Q"
