"I recent;y bought some table protector ( a felt like material with a fairly rigid backing) to cover and protect a new dining table. The shop assistant cut this oversize from a large roll using what looked like a professional version of the XEO. The cutting was so easy compared to having to use a knife and straight edge, that I have done in the past. When it came to cutting it to size I decided I should have something like that used by the shop assistant and found the XEO on the Bosch web site.
It cut the table safe material very easily and was well worth the money."

Does what I wanted
"Purchased this to cut cardboard boxes down to manageable sizes for recycling. It works fine but I think at the price the charging cradle should have been included. To charge it needs the low voltage plug from the charger to be plugged in."

Really Useful Tool
"Bought this for a specific task: trimming 1.14mm thick EPDM. Cut through it like dream. You have to keep the tool moving to ensure a clean, straight edge but that's easily done. Only reason I knocked off a star is that it would really benefit from having an attachable gauge to enable you to cut a precise distance from another surface. The carpet edging guide they supply was good enough for me to cut a 1/2" overhang but it is not adjustable."

Ideal for cutting carpet
"If you want to cut paper, do NOT buy this tool but if you wish to cut something SUBSTANTIAL, such as carpet or vinyl flooring, it is a godsend. You can cut (without the jagged scissor-marks) in one continuous cut, with the other hand free to control the material. LiIon battery holds its charge well."
