Not THAT bad!
"The bad reviews given by people are unfair, I dry assembled the bird table and then assembled it in about 15mins. I realised the instructions were rubbish but for £20 odd quid, who cares?
I couldn't have purchased the timber for that!l
I did, however, apply some wood preserver to the lower stand as can be seen in the supplied photo.
I only gave the item 4 stars because of the naff instructions and lack of countersunk holes, but again I did that my self in seconds.

I should have read the reviews!
"Oh dear. The last two comments are correct. The instructions are for a similar product but with differences from the illustrations in the way the sub assemblies are stapled together, so the instructions are incorrect and in the wrong order. There is no location guide for the table, so it requires precision measurement to fit to support correctly. Much of the wood is warped and split, and the roof does not fit square on the supports.
At least the birds have a different eye for aesthetics, so they don't mind the naff look and the odd angles.

Breathtakingly Bad!
"Seriously, this has to be one of the worst purchases I've ever made from B and Q! Can't believe how this has passed any kind of product assessment prior to sale instore. Granted it is only £30 but the assembly requires eight pairs of hands and one can only assume the instructions enclosed apply to a completely different product. Utter junk! However - made excellent firewood!"

OK for budget, awkward to assemble
"This is a cheap bird table, and if it wasn't, I would rate it lower.
For £20 the end result looks good, however I share the concern of the other reviewer on how long this will last.
Additionally I would also agree the assembly instructions on this are ridiculous. The written instructions miss out at least two key steps (attaching the cross section, and attaching the base of the house to the roof support - before attaching it to the support leg, which is not what I did first time), the pictures are insufficient, and if you take the time to turn it over to look on the back, the GB and multi-lingual instructions are actually different!
You'll need a drill or a strong wrist to self assemble as most of the holes are not pre-drilled - and although it comes with 7x60mm screws, it only tells you what to do with 6, so you have to connect the dots on the instructions to get to the end result"

Gardman Poor Product
"Described as a Premium Bird table. However, this a mediocre product which involves 90 minutes of assembly. Instructions are poorly described and miss out an important step. None of the screw holes are pre drilled to enable quick or easy assembly. The only parts (roof and table) that are assembled utilse cheap staples. The table top came apart, because of the stapling. To fix, I had to dismantle and use screws to attach it properly. The edging to the tray also had a junk missing.
If it blows over in the wind it will smash to pieces. I cannot see it lasting twelve months.
Absolute rubbish."
