Customer Reviews for 8ft Folding French Door White Oak Veneer With Satin Chrome Hardware 2090x2390mm
Review 1 for 8ft Folding French Door White Oak Veneer With Satin Chrome Hardware 2090x2390mm
"The doors look fantantastic but unfortunately work more like a window than a door because after numerous visits back out by the builder and carpenter the doors do not lock or shut properly without constant adjustment."

Review 2 for 8ft Folding French Door White Oak Veneer With Satin Chrome Hardware 2090x2390mm
"Just had this set fitted to our new extension by our builders, as well as the 3 door 6ft set. Delivery was quicker than predicted and pain free. A call from the distribution centre gave us a date the week before and the delivery man gave us a call the day before with a predicted time and his mobile phone number for ease. They arrive flat packed so if you struggle to put together wardrobes I wouldn't fit these yourself.
Both we and our builders are impressed with both sets. It's early days but the quality and finish are good. We had a good look at the competition including UPvC and bespoke hardwood specialists and we are not disappointed in our choice. I was a little hesitant to go for these as the display set in our local B&Q Warehouse was visually worse for wear. Plus with only one review online it was hard to gauge.
We purchased rooflight windows of a well known leading brand and the frames and panes complement each other nicely. The locks are a top brand (which hadn't been detailed on the spec) providing further reassurance.
Our only complaint is that one of the vent grills was missing for which we are awaiting a replacement."

Review 3 for 8ft Folding French Door White Oak Veneer With Satin Chrome Hardware 2090x2390mm
Excellent value and it's British!
"I have looked in great detail and for some time, for good external folding doors. Prices were and still are quite horrific. Worse than that, the doors were usually just a string of glass panels (some PLASTIC framed!!) that simply folded to one side or the other. Boring and inflexible.
Then I saw these doors at B&Q of all places. Why are they different? Two reasons. 1. They have a pair of clever French doors in the middle section (on the 8ft design) that can be used singly or as a pair in the conventional manner. That's a good solid start.
BUT, pull on a couple of latches, and the second leaf releases and fully half the assembly can be folded back out of the way. This can be either the left hand set OR the right hand set. Flexible indeed.
Then pull the remaing two latches and,hey presto, the other two panes fold away giving a totally open walk through space. AND, all the doors are NOT at just one side to impede your passage....they fold to both sides and don't project too much into the outside space either.
Quality is really good and we found that everything fitted and worked first go.
2. The price is astonishing. We very nearly paid twice this, for an inferior product!
The downsides? Not much........expect solid oak to be heavy, because these doors are heavy. Oh, and do NOT imagine that because they are in a DIY store that you can do the job yourself. You can, but you need to be competent and have a bit of muscle on call to give you a hand.
