Waste of time.

Dear Jacko90,

Thank you for your feedback. As a direct result we have contacted the vendor for comment. I hope you find this useful.

"All our windows are packed without the top claddings (right and left). These claddings are included in the flashing box which is also required as part of the recommended installation process."

shame the cappings were missing...
"I purchased 5 of these roof windows, and only because one box had been tampered with, I decided to check that box for missing bits,
good job I did as the two metal frame cappings were missing, I checked the other 4 sealed boxes to find they were missing from these too :(
took back to store and staff checked other two on shelf, they were the same ( so at least I didn't look like i was lying)
got refund, then re-ordered as it seems we have a faulty batch.
but from what I can see the build quality is very good and cant wait to get the replacements so I can start my 'project'
fingers crossed

Flashing kits for these windows manufactured wrong
"Just bought 2 of these windows and the slate flashing kits to match, it wasn't until I had fitted the windows that I realised the flashing kits has been manufactured wrong, ended up having to take both windows out and replace them with Velux, costing me a further £240 for the same sized windows. Windows are actually well manufactured, flashing kits pile of!! As soon as they get the flashing kits sorted I'd recommend these windows for the price....Velux took me 20 mins to fit from start to finsih though ;-)"
